It's Official!!!

Brandi is a certified and registered Nurse Assistant in the state of Illinois!

She doesn't have her certificate to show off yet so you will have to settle for a screen shot from the IL Healthcare Worker Registry!

Congratulations to Brandi!!!

BNAT Graduation Day!!

Last Thursday Brandi took her state competency exam to become a Certified Nurse Assistant, she will get her results in about two weeks and then she will be all official!

Later that night was the BNAT graduation. It was a really nice graduation just for the CNA's graduating from the day, night and weekend programs. Each class had a class speaker and a slide show for their class.

Such a big accomplishment to get through the program and Brandi of course came out with a 4.o gpa! Congrats to Brandi, we are so proud of her!

Dentist Time!

It was dentist time at our house last week and this week. Ava had her first dentist appointment last Thursday and she did pretty well. I had to hold her down during the cleaning and exam, but she kept her mouth open and did good otherwise, especially for having a middle ear infection. No cavities for Ava! Dentist said that we didn't have to take her binky away but to not give it back to her at night once it falls out...yea we'll see about that one! She sat in the chair like a big girl and while we waited for the dentist after her cleaning, she gave her Woody doll a cleaning...so cute! She was also loving that they had Toy Story on all the TV's (it's a ped dentist so they have flat screens in the ceiling so the kids can watch movies while they are getting worked on) so she got to watch Woody and Jessie!

Trying out her new toothbrush

Giving Woody his check up!

Logan had his dentist appointment this week, and he did really well, and NO CAVATIES! There were some tears, but he got through it and got to pick two pirzes out of the trsure chest for being such a brave boy.

Note the eyes on the TV in the ceiling LOL!

Now it's Mommy and Daddy's turn...

Happy 6th Anniversary To Us!

And what a 6 years it has been. Ups, downs and everything in between, but most importantly our two beautiful children...all we can say is life is good right now. Thank you to those that sent us cards, we appreciate it very much! Thank to both sets of parents for watching the kids so we could get our together!

We spent the day at home working on stuff outside and playing with the kids. Then for dinner we headed to Melting Pot, which is a fondue restaurant for anyone not familiar with it. It was our first time going there and we were not disappointed! Dinner was so good and it was a fun experience.

When we got to our table, there were 6 red roses in a pretty vase with rose petals floating in it that Matt had arranged for me, such a sweetie, even after 6 years married and 12 of being together ;<)

We had a cheese fondue for starters, a trio of WI cheeses with white wine and sherry...SO good!

For main course we both had the seafood trio which was shrimp, salmon and scallops. We cooked it in a basic stock, I forget the name of it, something European, and then they give you all these yummy dipping sauces and then you get a bowl of veggies as well. It was very, very good. It takes a long time to eat a full meal there though, we got there at 6 and left at 9 LOL!

For dessert we did the chocalete and peanutbutter fondue and it was AMAZING!
Look at all these yummy treats we got to dip!

We had a wonderful night together!
Can't wait to see what the next 6 years have in store for us!

Great Grandma and Grandpa Pable came up for a visit and grandma brought a box of old costume jewelry that Brandi use to play with when she was little. Ava knew what to do with it right away and had fun putting on and taking off the pretties!
