Check-Up Time!

The kids had their check-ups last week at the doctor. They are both doing great, and growing like weeds!

The Stats:

Logan
47 lbs and 44 inches
Doing perfect developmentally and for the first time in his life we had no issues arise out of the check up! (last year it was possible lazy eye and every visit before that something was going on we had to follow up with)

Ava
35 lbs and 36 inches
Ava's estimated adult height is 5'9'' but we shall see, Brandi was always tall for her age until about 5th grade so she might slow down still.
Developmentally she is right on track or above where she should be for her age, but we knew that she is a smarty pants!

They go back in a year, although I am sure we won't make it through the year without a visit or two to our favorite pediatrician!

And I think we may have a future doctor on our hands!

Family Pictures!

A couple weekends ago we headed out with our favorite photographer and took new family pictures (out last professional one Ava was only 6 months old!) and got some shots of the kids to use as their birthday pictures. It was a beautiful fall day and as always our friend took some beautiful pictures for us. Here are some of our favorites!

Happy 5th Birthday Logan!

Wow, 5 years since we became parents, so hard to believe! Logan is such a wonderful little boy now, so smart and fun and loveable. He loves all things boys, but is not above playing some girly stuff with his little sister, whom he is a big protector of. Matt and I couldn't be more proud of all the things he has been through and over came in the last 5 years. Logan is doing wonderfully in school and enjoys it, hopefully he will always love school as he does now.

Logan had his first party where he invited friends, he was so very excited. We also surprised him with a Batman themed bounce house, which of course was a big hit!

Happy 5th Birthday to our first baby!

Happy 2nd Birthday Ava!

Can you believe it? Our baby girl is 2?!?! Where did the time go? She is a full fledged toddler and definitely showing signs of the terrible two's. She is so smart and such a love bug. Ava loves her big brother and wants to do everything he does. She is every bit girl, but loves to play cars or trucks with her brother too.

We had her party the week before her real birthday so we could have a week off between her party and Logan's. Her party was a cowgirl theme and everything turned out great! On her real birthday we went out to the Choo Choo for birthday lunches and gave her one other present from Mommy and Daddy.
