Updates!

Life has been busy over here, but hey we like busy. The kids are doing great, Logan has continued with potty success and he uses the big potty now all the time. He is having a lot of fun at school with his little buddy and he looks forward to school every week. Logan is still doing gymnastics and having fun with that. Ava is just a little spit fire, she is getting very vocal and very clingy, she is a mamas girls for sure. She likes to be held and be the center of attention at all times. She thinks Logan is the best thing since sliced bread and watches him all the time. Logan can make her laugh like no other, it's awesome. Ava is pretty much sitting up by herself now, but she can't get her self up to sitting yet, but still doing very good. We are starting Ava on veggies and fruits this week, she loves her oatmeal and rice, and wasn't to keen on bananas yet. It's hard to believe that in two weeks she will be 6 months old already, time really is going way to fast this second time around.

Matt has been very busy with work, heading his first big project. In these uncertain economic times we thank God everyday that he landed this job when he did and that unlike so many other right now he has job security and we can actually look forward to a raise this year, when so many other's are being laid off or getting pay cuts. Such a blessing, and of course it helps that he enjoys what he does and he can move onward and upward from where he is in time. So while he is busy and being challenged at work, we don't complain. Matt has also been very busy at home doing work in the kitchen. We now have new counter tops, and a new microwave range hood! We are still waiting for our new black granite sink to come in so he still has a bit of work to do once that gets here. I will post some pictures, but for a guy who didn't know what he was doing, he did awesome work. We plan on replacing the stove hopefully in the next couple months, the only thing left will be the refrigerator to replace, it's looking good!

Brandi has been busy with skating and physical therapy and of course the kids! Brandi is performing in the ice show this year (April 30, May 1 &2) and rehearsals for that start after Easter. Physical therapy is going good, Brandi has noticed a difference while skating and feels stronger and is landing jumps with much more ease. She has less pain now and more good days than bad, pain wise. She has one more session with her PT and then she will be on her own with her home strengthen program. Brandi has recently made some career path changes and choices, that some of you may be aware of. Stay tuned for more as she gets ready for this exciting chapter in her life.

Here are some pictures of the fun we have been having around here!
